Moegi-iro

The dark green derived from aonegi (green onion) has come to be called Moegi-iro. It is used in the joshiki-maku, the standard striped curtain of kabuki. In JIS, it is registered as a color with slightly lower chroma than Fuka-midori. Fuka-midori: Munsell 5G 3/7; Moegi-iro: Munsell 5G 3/5.
