Koi Ai

A very dark blue. Some say that it has been used since the Muromachi period (1333-1573), but it seems to be a color that does not appear very often in literature. There are various color names with indigo in various concentrations, such as deep indigo, medium indigo, shallow indigo, and white indigo.
