Kon-iro
#1D3156 A dark purplish blue. Indigo-dye color names fall into an ai group and a kon group, and the kon group is closer to purple. Its representative color, Kon-iro, apparently referred to a color deeper and more subdued than Ai-iro. When people say Japan Blue, it may mean kon rather than blue.
