dark indigo (almost black)

A dark purplish blue. Also written as "brown" and "pounded". Pounding color is a color dyed by pounding to make the dye soak in well. When called "kakushoku," brown is a brownish color, but when called "kaiiro," it is the color of indigo dyeing.
