A grayish yellowish-green color derived from the feathers of the blue-horned dove. It is one of the forbidden colors that appeared in the Engishiki (Engi Shiki) as blue-white rubber, and was called yamahato-iro in the Genpei wars. In "The Tale of the Heike", the following description is found in the scene where Emperor Antoku enters the water at the battle of Dannoura.
