Shakudo-iro

A color more yellowish than Bengara-iro. It is used to describe the skin of sturdy, suntanned people. In Japan since ancient times, gold was called "kogane," silver "shirogane," iron "kurogane," and copper "akagane." Shakudo is an alloy of copper with 3% to 6% gold and about 1% silver added, and it is also called "shikin."
