Blue-white acorn
#BFBA92 This color is duller than the Kariyasu color. According to the Engishiki (Engi Shiki), 96 large loaves of kariyasu grass, 6 loaves of purplish grass, 3 stones of ash, 840 loaves of firewood, and one roll of twill were required to dye blue-white rubber. It was considered a forbidden color for the emperor's daily robe. The purple of kariyasu and purple of purplish grass are almost complementary colors. Their mixture is gray. The more kariyasu grass, the more yellowish gray it becomes. Tin is acorn, and the color of Tin dyeing is dark gray. Blue-white acorn has nothing to do with the acorn dyeing, but the character for acorn is used.
