Karakurenka (Korean red flower)

A color in which safflower is soaked in water to dissolve the yellow pigment, then soaked in lye to dissolve the red pigment, but then soaked in the pigment again and again to dye the fabric darker. It is called Hanbeka or Tangbeni because safflower was introduced from the continent.
