Mushiguri-iro

A pale, soft yellow like steamed chestnuts. It is unusual among traditional Japanese color names in being named after a food. While Kuri-iro is the color of the chestnut's outer skin, this color name takes the color of the inside, so perhaps people had a custom of being especially fond of chestnuts.
