#F5D038 A bright yellow like rapeseed blossoms. Rapeseed oil began to circulate from the Sengoku period to the Edo period, and this color name was born to distinguish it from Natane-abura-iro. "Rapeseed blossoms: the moon in the east, the sun in the west" (Yosa Buson). Fields of rapeseed blossoms apparently spread during the Edo period.
