Kihada-iro

A light yellow-green. Compared with Chuki and similar colors it is softer, and it is a very beautiful color. In early times, kihada dye (from the Amur cork tree) was used as an auxiliary dye for indigo dyeing, and it was used for practical purposes, with an insect-repellent effect also expected of it.
