Kuchiba-iro
#796040 This is the color of fallen leaves scattered on the ground. It appears to have been used since the mid-Heian period. There are so many color names derived from Kuchiba-iro that they are called "Kuchiba shijuhasshoku" (the forty-eight shades of kuchiba). Examples include Aka-kuchiba, Ki-kuchiba, and Ao-kuchiba.
