This is the color of the finest celadon. It has a pale blue-green color and a mysterious hue. Celadon glaze was produced in the Yuezhou kilns of China during the Tang Dynasty by applying a pale blue glaze containing iron. Celadon porcelain was presented to the emperor, and the color celadon became forbidden and was called hishoku (secret color).
